News in Brief – 6th March 2018

Our children took part in National Internet Safety Day just before the half term holidays. On the day the children learned how to keep themselves safe when using technology and the internet and also designed posters for display.


Our netball team played in two matches against just before half term at Farringdon. The team played very well, winning against Mill Hill and losing to Diamond Hall. Well done to the team for competing so well and my thanks to Mrs Godfrey for accompanying the team and also to parents and carers who were able to support and help with lifts.


Our football team played in a 5-a-side competition just before the half term holidays. The team won one game and lost one. Well done to the team and my thanks to Mr Hauxwell for accompanying the children. My thanks also to parents and carers who were able to support with lifts.


Some of our Year 5 children have been busy developing their cycling skills over the last couple of weeks in order to achieve their cycling proficiency. Well done to the children and my thanks to the staff who have been involved in teaching the children.


Mrs Jobling’s class visited the Nissan factory on Monday 26th February. During the visit the children visited the workshop, saw robots, built cars out of lego and learned some Japanese! The children said that they thoroughly enjoyed the visit.
