Time to Read
Time-sharing stories is time well spent. Can you find the Time to Read?
We want parents and carers to keep reading to their child, even once they’ve reached primary school or started to read on their own. Research shows that a child who reads for pleasure will do better at school, even in subjects like maths. Not only that, but if you read books together, it’s a great way to bond, talk about the day, and have a lot of fun!
This year, we encouraged every family in the UK find 10 minutes a day to read with their child as part of a National Time to Read Challenge.
Dear parent, tell BookTrust what you think about The Bumblebear book you received in this short survey bit.ly/Time2Read17 and you could win a selection of books for your child!
