As the weather continues to get warmer, we would be grateful if parents and carers could ensure that their child is adequately protected against the sun. If sun cream needs to be applied, please apply it to your child before they come to school. Your child may bring sun cream into school although staff will be unable to apply it for safeguarding and health and safety reasons. Providing your child with a cap or hat will help keep the sun off their head during play times. Also, please ensure that your child comes to school with a bottle of water to enable them to re-hydrate throughout the day. Alternatively, if the weather is cooler, we would ask parents to ensure that their child is wearing adequate clothing (eg coats, jumpers) as they do spend a significant amount of time outside during the day.
Thank you.
