Twenty-five of our Year 5 and Year 6 pupils went to Derwent Hill for a residential visit last week, accompanied by Mrs Jobling and Mrs Haley. The children took part in a wide range of activities, such as gorge walking, mountain climbing and orienteering. The children told me that they toasted marshmallows on the fire, had a disco on the last night and that the food was ‘lush!’ They all said that they had a fantastic time. Well done to the children for being a credit to the school and my deepest thanks to Mrs Jobling and Mrs Haley who accompanied the children on their trip.
