Design & Technology

As part of our transition arrangements, our Year 5 children are attending a design and technology workshop at St Anthony’s. Half the group attended the workshop on Tuesday earlier this week; the remaining children will go to the workshop on Tuesday 14th February (afternoon only). The children who went earlier this week said that they made ‘alien’ pencil holders by using a variety of tools, such as a drill, a hammer, nails and sandpaper. The children said they thoroughly enjoyed the activity.

Our Year 5 children will also be attending a Science and ICT workshop at St Aidan’s on Wednesday 15th February.

Transport will be provided to and from St Aidan’s and the children will be back well before home time. The children will need a packed lunch on this day.
