Football Update – 25th April 2017

Our football team have been very busy over the last couple of weeks. On Tuesday 25th April the team played in the Bishop Cunningham Cup at St Mary’s, playing very well in a series of matches and progressing to the semi -finals of the competition. The team then played two league matches at St Cuthbert’s two days later, beating St Joseph’s 1 -0 before narrowly losing to Hastings Hill 1-0. The team played again in the league on Wednesday earlier this week, winning 4-0 against English Martyrs’ before beating St Paul’s in the local derby 1 -0! Well done to all the team for their efforts. My thanks to Mr Hauxwell for organising the matches and to parents and carers for their support.
