Our football team have been busy playing in competitions over the last few weeks.
They played in the Bishop’s Cup competition at St Joseph’s, Murton, on Wednesday 23rd September, narrowly losing all three games. However, the team certainly had their ‘finishing boots’ on the next day in the league competition at Dame Dor- othy School, winning their first game 6-0 before narrowly losing the second game. Well done to Nathan, Lucas, Ethan, Roman, Cambell, McKenzi, Jamie, Daud and Kyle. My thanks to our Director of Football, Mr Hauxwell, for giving his time to accompany the team and organise the competitions. My thanks also to parents and carers who came along to support and were able to give lifts to and from the games.
