A reminder to parents that the school does not administer medication to pupils but will supervise a pupil whilst taking their own medication. However, the medicine must be prescribed and the dose must be at least four times per day.
All prescribed medication should be in the original packaging as supplied by the pharmacy with the original label stating the child’s name and the dosage. A form detailing the dosage and times when the medicine should be taken must be completed by the parent/carer and signed and dated (forms are available from the office). Parents are welcome to come into school to administer medicines to their child which are either prescribed or non-prescribed.
