This year is the ‘Year of Mercy’ in the Catholic Church. It began on 8th December 2015 and runs through to November 20th 2016. During this time, the Church invites us to seek out and show mercy and to try to think of new and better ways to support others. To celebrate the Year of Mercy, all the Catholic schools within our Deanery will be displaying work linked to the theme in their respective churches. We expect to have our children’s work displayed in the church and in the junior corridor within the next few days. In addition, our Year 4 children will be attending a special ‘Mini Mission’ Mass on Thursday 19th May at St Benet’s Church, along with other pupils of the same year group from other Deanery schools.
